First Stop: Kaolack, Senegal
All profits generated by the event space operations will be allocated to coaching staff, transportation, equipment, uniforms, shoes and general maintenance of the courts. Currently one varsity team is practicing on the damaged courts as well as an after-school program accounting for 95 boys and girls year-round.
Once renovated, the Kaolack facility would be the premier in the area, turning damaged courts into a basketball hub for the region. In its vicinity, four other cities would be holding their team practices on this site, which includes a total of six teams and 750 boys and girls.
As a result of its state-of-the-art courts, Kaolack will become the host of league games and tournaments, generating revenue for the club and the city. With the help of one our local partners, a program will be implemented for 50 kids yearly, reaching over 500+ kids from a dozen of elementary schools in Kaolack that would now be able to have opened gym twice a week.
